The platforms I trust and deploy for clients, plus the main alternatives. Here is what each one is best at, and how they fit together.

Most "best chatbot" lists are written for American companies selling on websites. That is not how most businesses in the Philippines sell. Here, the Facebook page and Messenger are often the storefront. In Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, WhatsApp plays that role. The right platform depends on where your customers already talk to you and what has to happen after the chat.
Most of these are platforms I use and deploy for clients. I chose them because they are flexible, connect to many other tools, and let me design complete workflows instead of isolated bots. It describes itself as an official Meta Business Partner. Agents can be trained on your files and business data, use models such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, xAI and DeepSeek, and hand over to a shared team inbox. It connects to Shopify, WooCommerce, Stripe, PayPal, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make and webhooks.
For agencies it adds flow templates installed into client accounts, control over what clients can see, and a white-label program. Best for: businesses selling across several chat channels, and agencies deploying bots for many clients.
ChatbotBuilder AI builds custom GPT chatbots trained on your business data for websites, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS, email and voice.
